TESTIMONIALS

It was a pleasure working with Heather, she took my project from start to finish and the final results are absolutely stunning.  Her kitchen design was top-notch, where she was able to utilize every inch of this challenging layout with limited space. The quality of cabinets and fixtures she provided are excellent. The bathroom finishes are sleek, clean, modern with a daring edge to it—her tile selection makes an immediate statement. The whole home has an amazing seamless flow to it due to her eye for color, from wall paint color, to floors, to cabinets, tiles, fixtures and so on; it was incredible to see how easily and naturally these decisions and design ideas came to her.  She is responsive and very easy to work with, a true   professional. Later, I learned she holds a master’s degree in interior architecture, which explains a lot. It was a huge relief to have her take all the usual pressure of decision-making and choices associated with a full renovation project off of my shoulders. I'm very thankful for her help and looking forward to working with her again. I would highly recommend her to anyone.  ~ Krisztian B.
Our new house is a 1928 Georgian that made a long stop in the 1970s. Heather Nickman helped us articulate and then execute a plan that brought fresh perspective to an expansive structure, creating a livable, safe and stylish space. For example, the grand rooms of the first floor needed cohesion and flow so she found color ways to achieve those goals. She tracked down furniture, lighting, fabrics and area rugs to that blend beautifully with inherited pieces and extensive art collection. The vendors she brought to the project delivered quality window treatments and carpet installation. The stunning result enhanced an extended family’s lifestyle, with panache and mindful of budget. Heather is very easy to work with and brings a lot of great ideas and positive energy to any collaboration. I look forward to working with her again in the future.  ~ Lisa R.

We love the new look and feel that Heather created for our lobby!  At the start of the project, Heather wanted to know how we observed guests using our lobby and bar space and from that information she incorporated functional upgrades to the space, such as additional seating and charging stations.  She took a very traditional styled space and moved us into a more modern style, while choosing base elements that would lend a timeless look for any future upgrades or renovations.  Heather gave consideration to how our front desk staff utilized their current workspace at the desk and what they thought could improve, not only their work environment, but also the guest experience.  She was meticulous when creating our market design to ensure that the market would be a seamless transition with the style she created for the front desk.   The end product is inviting and comfortable and we are excited for that feel to continue throughout the rest of our property!  ~ Karla C.
